Joint Technical Symposium – The name says it all!
The history of MWA, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, is also a history of technologies for film and television. Starting with optical sound cameras, through sound followers, to today’s high-resolution filmscanners.
As a representative of the industry, it was always considered a matter of courseto cater to the wishes and needs of the users of the technology in the audiovisual archives and the media and television industry.
The Joint Technical Symposium has always been a focused platform to discuss current and future technical requirements of the audio-visual community.
Therefore, the MWA will also be represented at the 11th JTS 2026.We look forward to a lively exchange on March 3rd and 4th, 2026 at the NFSA in Canberra.
