FIAT/IFTA WORLD CONFERENCE Rome, Italy – Cinecittà Luce, October 28th – 31st, 2025

This year, MWA Nova GmbH, as a Silver Sponsor, is once again demonstrating how important the television archives’ customer base is to them.

Like last time in Locarno, this year we will be presenting a digitization solution specifically designed for television archives.

Based on the flashscan NOVA small film scanner, which has already proven itself in high volume production, we present a concept for the synchronous digitization of 16mm film and SEPMAG.

Simply arrange an appointment for the product presentation at

contact@mwa-nova.com.

Bernhard Wanko is on site.

What can you expect:

  • The discontinuation of Windows 10 and the resulting transition to Windows 11 poses major challenges for archives and service providers: Are MWA scanner workstations ready for Windows 11? How will the flashsuite operator system cope with the transition?

MWA Nova has answers to all these questions – tailored to your specific configuration!

  • We also want to present in general on the possibilities of equipping devices such as the flashtransfer vario and choice or the flashscan HD with modern sensors and new software.

  • We will have the following machines on site:

Multi format film scanner spinner S2 with 13.4k sensor (SONY IMX 661), which enables 8k scnas for super4k which corresponds to the quality of a scanner with a monochrome sensor.

Viewing table spinner V with new variants, for example for use in broadcast archives.

Small gauge film scanner flashscan NOVA with automatic easy wet gate

Rewinding table spinner R with the new capacitive splice detector C.S.D

MWA Open House 2025

Due to the great success last year, we will open our doors again and show you our products and our manufactory. The Berlinale is the perfect setting for this. MWA Nova GmbH invites all our customers, partners and those who would like to become one to an open house.

MWA Nova GmbH is constantly developing its devices to meet the requirements of work in film archives. The practical experience of the users is just as important as the latest technical innovations, e.g. in the sensor market. Mechanical stability, modular design, sustainability and easy handling are our claim.

Thanks to the modular structure of the spinner series, we can design devices for almost all applications as well as image and sound formats. We’d like to show you how we do it. Have a talk with our developers, engineers and technicians, observe the creation of a film scanner in our workshop and of course see it in operation.
